A quick update as of Thursday early afternoon. We made it onto the salt without any problems. Just starting to set up our pits and hoping to get our car into line to go through tech inspection today. The bug got unloaded smoothly and it’s happy to finally be untied.

We even had our porta pot delivered already. I mean, who goes on a vacation and rents their own toilet? With two women on this trip, bet you money we were getting our own. I’ve been here before and know what these men can do to them in a few days in the hot sun. No thanks! We did get the quote already though. The porta pot guy came and asked, “Where do you want your honey bucket?” You just don’t hear that every day.
