Made it into Utah around 4:00-4:30. Below is a pic of “the boys” at a rest stop in Echo, Utah. Outside temp is 96. Only about 2 1/2 more hours.
Mountains coming into Salt Lake. We passed through all the ski areas from the 2002 winter Olympics. Can see big smoke plumes from fires south of Salt Lake City which are probably still a few hundred miles away. 
This is the Morton Salt plant outside of Toole. And yes, the big white pyramid to the left is a pile of salt.
